Public Restaurant a New York! Cena cool in piena Nolita.

Nel 2008 ero negli States per lavoro e come prevedibile mi sono fermata un week end a New York con un amica .... giusto il tempo per un pò di shopping e un pò di vita nella grande mela. 
Ho scoperto il Public grazie ad un amico della mia amica (si lo so, fa molto gioco di parole) che vive lì. 
Mi è subito piaciuto.
Sarà per l'ambiente moooolto newyorkese, per la buona cucina americana, per i fiumi di vino o anche per la piacevole compagnia, ma la ricordo come una splendida serata.
Sono tornata nella city altre volte, ma solo nella primavera di quest'anno sono riuscita a cenare nuovamente al Public. Confermo, mi piace!

Buona la cucina,  gentilissimo lo staff. Ricordo che il cameriere aveva sbagliato una nostra ordinazione e, per farsi perdonare, ci ha offerto il dolce...un assaggio di fruttini (diversi gusti di sorbetti alla frutta)...buoni!

Il Public si trova in pieno quartiere NoLita, perfetto per fare un giro per negozietti, prendere un aperitivo e andare a cena. L'ambiente è carino, stile grande loft, classici mattoncini rossi, un bancone dove prendere un drink in attesa del tavolo e sale con comodi divani in pelle dove bere un buon whisky dopo cena.  Cosa chiedere di più!

In 2008 I was in the States to work and,  as expected,  I stopped a weekend in New York with a friend .... just the time for a little shopping and a little life in the Big Apple.

I discovered the Public thanks to a friend of my friend (you know, it's a very pun) who lives there.

I immediately liked it.

It will be for the environment,  real New York, for the good kitchen,  the rivers of wine or even for the good company, but I remember it as a wonderful evening.

I was back in the city lots of times, but only in the spring of this year I was able to dine again at the Public. I agree, I like it!

Good cuisine, very kind staff. I remember that the waiter changed our order and  to be forgiven, he gave us a slide of  ... berries cake (different flavours of fruit sorbets) ... good!

The Public is located in the NoLita neighborhood, perfect for a ride, for shops, to have a drink or dinner. The atmosphere is nice, very loft style, classic red brick, a bar where to grab a drink while waiting for the table; rooms with comfortable leather sofas where you can drink a glass of whiskey after dinner. What could you ask for more!
