Ritorniamo al week end parigino! Quando dicevo che avevo mangiato tanto non mentivo e devo dire "purtroppo", visto che la linea ne ha risentito .... e anche parecchio.! :)
Semilla l'ho scoperto casualmente passeggiando una sera per Saint Germain des Prés. L'ho visto e me ne sono subito innamorata. Esattamente il tipo di ristorante che piace a me: total white, piccolino, legno, bancone, cucina a vista, moderno, un pò stile "loft"....stupendo! E ... "molto mio"!
Mi sono fiondata dentro e, totalmente al buio, senza essermi informata, senza sapere nulla sullo chef, sulla cucina, ho prenotato una cenetta per il giorno dopo!
Il ristorante era pieno (buon indicatore) e mi piaceva molto....perchè non rischiare?!
Sono fierissima di non essermi sbagliata!
La cena è stata molto buona. Non ho ancora ben capito cosa abbiamo mangiato, non mastico bene il francese e, sebbena la cameriera inglese (gentilissima e di una pazienza infinita...credo di aver cambiato almeno 3 volte la mia ordinazione) ci abbia tradotto tutto il menù, confesso che alcune portate le abbiamo ordinate un pò a caso. Buoni i formaggi e i funghi, ottimo il rognone e la purea di mela e per finire, una fantastica mousse aromatizzata alla frutta della passione.
Due cose mi hanno piacevolmente colpita di Semilla: l'ambiente e l'atmosfera giovane, fresca e cordiale ma,soprattutto, la cucina. I piatti erano ricercati, particolari, poco comuni e gustosi.

Semilla I accidentally discovered it while
walking one evening in Saint Germain des Prés. As soon as I saw it, I immediately fell in love. Exactly the kind
of restaurant that I like: total white, little, wooden counter, modern kitchen,
style "loft" .... amazing! And ... "My own endeed!"!
straightaway in and totally in the dark, without being
informed, without knowing anything about the chef, the kitchen, I booked a
dinner for the next day!
The restaurant was full (good indicator) and I
really liked it .... why do not risk ?!
Very proud not to be wrong!
The dinner was very good. I still do not quite
understand what we ate, I do not speak French well and the English maid (gentle and too patient ... I think I've
changed at least 3 times my order), translated the entire menu, I confess that we
ordered some of the courses at random.
Good cheese and mushrooms, excellent kidney and apple puree and finally, a
fantastic mousse flavoured with passion fruit.
Two things I was pleasantly surprised at Semilla:
the environment and the atmosphere: young, fresh and friendly but, above all, the
kitchen. The dishes were refined, special, unusual and tasty.
I can close by saying “tried, tasted, approved
LovEat!”
