Concludiamo la stagione invernale con Lo Riondet!
Non pensavo a Pasqua di dover ancora postare location invernali, ma qui sembra che la primavera non voglia assolutamente arrivare!!!
Lo Riondet é un rifugio che si trova proprio sulle piste, a La Thuile. Noi ci siamo stati per concludere in bellezza la stagione sciistica: un meritatissimo pranzo alle 3.00 del pomeriggio dopo l'ultima giornata sugli sci con gli amici...l'ultima per il 2013, peró! :)
Un gruppetto di 7 persone un tantino affamate....diciamo che non ci siamo lasciati mancare nulla: polenta concia (in poche parole polenta e formaggi) accompagnata da tris di carni in umido (camoscio, carbonada di vitello e salsiccette al sugo), costato di maialetto alla senape, patate al forno e per finire strudel e torta di mele.....rigorosamente con panna! Certo, non proprio leggero come pranzetto ma dopo una faticosissima giornata di sci ci stava tutto! E anche di piú! :)
Buono! Devo ricordarmi di tornarci il prossimo anno!

Let´s end the winter season with “Lo Riondet!”
It’s strange to think that at Easter I had to post a winter location, but it seems that the spring does not want to arrive, absolutely!
Lo Riondet is a refuge that is located right on the slopes in La Thuile, in Val d’Aosta, in the north of Italy. We were there to end our ski season: a well-deserved lunch at 3.00 pm, the last day of skiing with friends ... the last for 2013, maybe :)
A group of seven people, satisfied of a long ski, but a bit hungry .... let`s say say that we did not leave anything, everything was good and tasty , the “concia polenta” (in a few words… polenta and cheese) accompanied by three portions of stewed meat (chamois, “carbonada” veal and sausages in tomato sauce) the side of pork with mustard and then baked potatoes and finally strudel and apple pie ..... rigorously with whipped cream! Of course, not a light lunch as the one we generally have, but after a tiring day on the slopes, we could eat everything , also because it was really good! And even more! :)
