Due tapas al Mercado de San Migue, Madrid

    

  

Lo so, non è proprio il posto che ci si aspetterebbe di trovare su LovEat.

Vero, è commerciale, turistico e sempre affollato ma, merita una visita. Un grazioso "Mercado" nel cuore di Madrid, in Plaza San Miguel...pieno centro. Una struttura in ferro con una spettacolare esplosione di colori. Delizie di ogni genere e frutta sistemata ad arte. Datemi un motivo per non andarci? E' lì, proprio accanto a Plaza Mayor, merita almeno 20 minuti del vostro tempo! Ma sono sicura che se lo vedrete non riuscirete a resistere, vi incuriosirà ed entrerete.
Prendete una pausa dalla vostra visita turistica. Entrate e se riuscite bloccate un tavolino, ordinate una caña (birra chiara alla spina) e girate per i vari chioschetti alla ricerca delle tapas che più vi ispirano. Il mio piatto preferito? Pimientos del padron. Caldi piccoli peperoni verdi fritti con una spolverata di sale....una delizia. Ordinate tutto quello che vi gusta, portate al vostro tavolo, mangiate e ripartite con la visita alla città. 

Si, confermo, turistico, non proprio economico ma da provare!

I know, not exactly the place you'd expect to find on LovEat.

True, it is commercial, tourist and crowded, but worth a visit. A lovely "Mercado" in the heart of Madrid, Plaza San Miguel ... the heart. An iron structure with a spectacular explosion of colours. Delights of every kind and artistic arranged fruit. Give me a reason not to go there? And 'there, right next to Plaza Mayor, you can deserve at least 20 minutes of your time! But I'm sure if you will see it, you will not be able to resist, it will intrigue and you will enter. Take a break from your sightseeing tour. Enter and if you can lock a table, order a caña (lager beer) and turn to the various stalls in search of tapas that interest you. My favourite dish?   Pimientos del pardon ("Peppers of the boss") Small hot green fried  peppers  with a sprinkling of salt .... a delight. Order everything you taste, bring to your table, eat and then  go on  with the visit to the city.

Yes, I agree, tourist, not exactly cheap but try it!
