Da Pastamadre, a Milano, pasta pasta pasta e non solo

Una piacevole scoperta. Certo, il nome ha un qualcosa di "arcaico", ma di sicuro rende l'idea del chiaro posizionamento di questo piccolo ristorante nel cuore di Milano. 

La pasta madre, come raccontava la mia nonna, è il lievito naturale utilizzato per produrre il pane quando ancora non esisteva il lievito di birra e qui, in effetti, il pane è preparato artigianalmente così come la pasta e i dolci. 

Una cucina casalinga con chiaro accento siciliano che, sabato sera, mi ha deliziato il palato. I maccheroni alla norma erano ottimi.

L'ambiente è molto piccolo, semplice, un pò rumoroso ma accogliente. Si, "accogliente" è  la parola giusta perchè la sensazione è stata proprio quella di "essere accolti" a tavola più che  di "essere serviti". Una cena davvero piacevole e se consideriamo che per primo, secondo, dolce, vino e liquore abbiamo speso poco più di 40€ a testa (ormai una rarità a Milano) direi che è stata perfetta!

A pleasant discovery. Of course, the name has something "archaic", but it certainly makes the idea of ​​a clear positioning of this small restaurant in the heart of Milan.

The sourdough, my grandmother told me, is the yeast used to make bread when there was not yet  the yeast and here, in fact,  bread is prepared by hand as well as pasta and desserts.

Home cooking with clear Sicilian accent and on  Saturday evening, I was delighted with macaroni to the norm…they were great!!!

The place is very small, simple, a bit noisy but cosy. Yes, "comfortable" is the right word because the feeling was precisely to "be accepted" at the table rather than "being served." A really nice dinner and when we consider that for the main courses, plus a  dessert, wine and liquor I have spent a little more than € 40 per person (now  very rare in Milan) I would say it was perfect!
