A Las Vegas, cena da Sage

              

       

Lo so, non ho ancora concluso di postare tutti i ristoranti provati questa estate negli States che già sono passata all'Italia e all'Europa.

Confesso, sono  un pò disorganizzata nel timing di pubblicazione ma ... mi piace così, variare! :)
Per cui da Madrid, torniamo agli States: LAS VEGAS!

Al Sage sono stata in agosto, tappa a Vegas prima di partire per il tour dei parchi americani (un classico) e una gallerista del posto (non domandiamoci perchè ero in una galleria d'arte) mi ha consigliato proprio questo ristorante.

Non avevo voglia dei soliti posti pieni di turisti ma volevo gustarmi una tranquilla cenetta a base di ottima carne e il suggerimento è stato proprio il Sage.

Mi sono fidata e l'ho seguito!

Il ristorante si trova all'interno dell'hotel ARIA, proprio alle spalle del Bellagio.

Inizialmente ero un pò indecisa se postarlo o meno. Parliamoci chiaro, la cucina è ottima, ma l'ambiente non mi ha propriamente convinta ... direi un pò pretenzioso.
Poi mi sono detta: Vegas è così! Pretenziosa, eccessiva, artefatta, stravagante .... per cui, anche il Sage poteva meritare un posto su LovEat! 
La cena è stata ottima. Abbiamo naturalmente ordinato carne e credetemi, si "scioglieva in bocca"! Il vino, poi, etichetta rigorosamente californiana della Napa valley, ha accompagnato perfettamente il tutto.
Unica nota di attenzione il servizio che è stato un pò troppo lento e non proprio organizzatissimo ma, mi auguro che si sia trattato di uno "sfortunato caso".
Costo, decisamente molto alto ... che dire, questa è Vegas! Eccessiva...anche nei costi.  :)

So from Madrid, back to the States: LAS VEGAS!

I have been at  SAGE  in August,  a stop in Vegas before leaving for a tour  to the American parks (a classic) and I was in a gallery  of the place (do not  ask why  I was in an art gallery) and a person suggested me  this restaurant.

I did not want the usual places full of tourists but I wanted   a quiet dinner with good meat and the suggestion was the Sage.

I trusted and followed him!

The restaurant is located inside the hotel AIR, right behind the Bellagio.

Initially I was  not sure if to post it or not it. Well, let's face the problem, the food is excellent, but the environment …I was not really convinced ... I would say a little pretentious.

Then I said to myself: Vegas is so! Pretentious, excessive, artificial, extravagant .... so even the Sage could merit a place on LovEat!

The dinner was excellent. We  ordered meat of course and believe me, it " dissolved in our mouth"! Wine with a label strictly California-Napa valley, that accompanied perfectly everything.

Only  note of caution is that the service was a little too slow and not very well organized, but I hope  it was an "unfortunate event."

Costs, very very high ... what to say, this is Vegas! Too  excessive... even in costs. :)
