Another weekend in Rome and another Roman restaurant to post.

San Marino is the classic neighborhood pizzeria, no tourists, only the locals who love good Roman pizza. Yes, because the Roman pizza has a special feature: very thin and crunchy ... just how I like it and that of San Marino is pretty much my favorite in the capital.
But here you can also enjoy the classic Roman fried , like croquettes or zucchini flowers stuffed with mozzarella and anchovies. And then there's the top dish, the parmesan! The best. And I  and... "Mr. X" (my husband has forbidden me to use his name, so now it will be Mister X) usually we order it as a starter before the pizza with buffalo milk, and raw tomatoes (cherry tomatoes real, tasty) or pizza with zucchini flowers and anchovies or classic margherita with buffalo and raw. There is something for all tastes. And finally, tiramisù.
Yes, let's say we usually go out with the excuse of a light dinner of pizza and we order small portions of almost everything on the menu. A classic. Certainly not the best to feel fit, but it is great for the "throat"! :)

Despite  San Marino is a little secluded, less well known than other local restaurant reported on several guides and is not frequented by tourists, the weekend must resign ourselves to do a bit of a row to be able to catch a table. One point of caution: there are two San Marino, the historic pizzeria in via San Marino at number 52 and then a new restaurant in via Trieste. What I point out is the first, of course!
