Saint Barts, cena cool all' Eden Rock Restaurant

 

Se devo sintetizzarlo con un solo aggettivo, è facilissimo: COOL!
L'Eden Rock è sicuramente uno dei posti più spettacolari in cui abbia mai cenato: un ristorante a picco sul mare! E che mare! 
Terrazzine di legno ricreate  sugli scogli, design, luci soffuse, candele, comodi divani in velluto color porpora, musica di sottofondo, staff preparatissimo e cordialissimo, buona cucina e bella presentazione dei piatti .... cosa volete di più?  
Del resto, qui siamo a Saint Barts, uno dei posti più esclusivi al mondo e, come tale, i ristoranti (o almeno quelli che bazzico ;)  ) non possono certo essere sotto le aspettative!
Scherzi a parte, mi spiace solo che il mio iphone non mi abbia supportata con le foto (purtroppo c'era poca luca) ma forse è meglio, così se ci capitate ... ammirerete la location direttamente con i vostri occhi.

Essendo ai Caraibi, la cucina è prevalentemente di mare ma trovate anche qualche piatto di carne in stile americano. Come unico suggerimento, forse, io avrei investito ancora di più sulla qualità dei piatti. Parliamoci chiaro, è tutto buono ma in un posto esclusivo, mi aspetto una cucina esclusiva, anche perchè, i prezzi lo sono: 100 dollari per la cena ma visto il livello dell'isola, vi assicuro che temevo molto ma molto di più!!!

If I have only one word to summarize the Eden Rock Restaurant,  it's easy: COOL!

The Eden Rock is definitely one of the most spectacular places where I've ever eaten: a restaurant overlooking the sea! And what sea!

Wooden terraces recreated on the rocks, design, soft lighting, candles, comfy sofas in purple velvet, background music, obliging staff, good food and beautiful presentation of the dishes .... What more do you want?

After all, here we are in Saint Barts, one of the most exclusive place in the world and, as such, the restaurants (or at least those where I like to go;))  cannot be below expectations! Seriously, I am only sorry that my iphone has not supported me with pictures (unfortunately there was little light) but maybe it's better.... if decide to go there ... you can admire the location directly with your eyes.

The cuisine is mostly seafood but you can also find some meat dishes in american style. As a suggestion, perhaps, I would have invested even more on the quality of the dishes. Let's face it, it's all good, but in an exclusive place, I expect an exclusive cuisine, also because the prices are exclusive: $ 100 for dinner, but given the level of the island, I assure you I was afraid of much, much more!
