Primo tra tutti "La posada de la Villa", uno storico ristorante, spagnolo al 100%.
Spagnolo negli arredi, spagnolo nel servizio e spagnola la cucina.
Lo stile è "poco mio": molto grande, molto noto e per questo turistico, un pò precisino ma tipico e buono. Ci sono stata con amici che vivono lì da anni, una cena divertente a base di cucina madrilena. Abbiamo cominciato con olive, crocchette di patate e jamon (tipicissime e molto diverse dalle nostre crocchette), pimientos del padron (peperoni verdi fritti con spolverata di sale), queso manchego (un formaggio di pecora molto saporito) filetto di manzo tenerissimo e il piatto forte del ristorante: CORDERO ASADO! Uno spettacolare agnello al forno. Sublime.
Il tutto contornato da una buona bottiglia di Marquès de Riscal.
E per concludere, qualche bicchiere di hierba buena.
Certo, non posso dire che sia stata una cenetta leggera ma è stata decisamente gustosa! Costo, 43 euro a persona, abbastanza più alto della media di Madrid ma la cena li valeva tutti!

a historic restaurant, 100% Spanish
in furniture, service and cuisine.
The style
is "not mine", it’s very large, well-known and touristic, caring too
many detailes but typical and good
enough. I went with friends who have been
living there for years, a fun
dinner based on Madrid
All
accompanied by a good bottle of Marques de Riscal.
And
finally, a few glasses of hierba buena.
Of course,
I can not say that it was a light dinner but it was very tasty! Cost…. 43 euro
per person, quite higher than the average in Madrid
