A Dubai non perdetevi la cena al 101 Dining Lounge&Bar

Era da anni che volevo andare a Dubai.

Mi incuriosiva tantissimo. Il fascino arabo associato alla modernità dell’ interminabile distesa di grattacieli.

Sapevo che mi sarebbe piaciuta ma....non così tanto! 

Adoro il mare, adoro le città super moderne e si...adoro anche il caldo (certo avrei preferito un pochino meno dei 45 gradi locali ma...mi accontento ;) .

La combinazione delle tre cose mi ha fatto apprezzare davvero tanto Dubai.

Ci siamo stati per il ponte del 2 giugno. Noi 3 (confesso di ver avuto il coraggio di portare  la cucciola a 45 gradi ma state sereni....è stata sempre in piscina e si è divertita come una matta), più un’amica e sua mamma .... ed è stato molto carino.

La città meritava una visita non solo ai suoi rinomati grattacieli e mall ma anche ai famosissimi ristoranti. Così, mi sono organizzata, ne ho cercati un pò su internet e mi sono fatta aiutare da italiani che vivono da anni lì. Il risultato? Una lunga lista e pochi giorni per provarli ma....diciamo che abbiamo fatto una buona scrematura.  Come prima cosa, abbiamo scartato tutti quei ristoranti che non accettano bimbi sotto i 10 anni per cena, sono tra i più noti e vi assicuro che sono tanti. Inizialmente ci sono rimasta male....mi sono sentita quasi discrminata, poi, ripesando a quanto rumore fanno i bimbi e quanto sia piacevole godersi una cena rilassante e quanto costi una cena a Dubai (tanto) ho pensato che in effetti potevo anche accettarlo.

Ad ogni modo non mi sono scoraggiata e e ne ho trovati di buoni, esclusivi e che accettassero ben volentieri anche la cucciola.

Il primo che vi segnalo è il 101 Dining Lounge & bar. Si trova sulla palma artificiale e merita i 15 minuti di taxi per poterci arrivare.

Location spettacolare, sul mare e fronte skyline....una meraviglia.

Locale davvero molto bello, curato in ogni dettaglio.

Cena ....semplicemente ottima.

La cucina è internazionale con portate sia di carne che di pesce.Ottimo il vino, ottimo il pane ottimo il servizio. E devo dire che essendo sul mare (quando dico sul mare....intendo proprio sopra...diciamo una palafitta sull’acqua) c’era anche quella piacevola brezza marina che mitigava il caldo e l’afa locale.

E’ piaciuto persino alla cucciola che ha mangiato tutto il pane (come darle torto, nei Paesi Arabi lo sanno fare davvero bene) e ha scorrazzato qui e là provando anche a tuffarsi in mare di notte.

101 è decisamente approvato Lov-Eat! Provatelo.

For years, I wanted to go to Dubai.I was curious about a lot. The Arab charm associated with the modernity of the endless expanse of skyscrapers.

I knew I would  like it but ... not so much. I love the sea, I love the super modern cities and ... I also love the heat (of course I would have preferred a little less than  the local 45 degrees but  ... I'm happy.  :)

The combination of three things made me appreciate  Dubai so much.

We were there for the bridge on 2 June. The three of us (I confess I had the courage to bring the puppy at 45 degrees ... but be quiet ...she  has always been in the pool and had fun like a crazy), plus a friend and her mom and ... it was very nice. The city deserves a visit not only to its  famous skyscrapers and malls but also  to the world famous restaurants.

So I organized, I searched some on the internet and I got help from Italians living there for years. the result? A long list and a few days to try them but .... let's say that we made a good choice. 

First, we discarded all those restaurants that do not accept children under 10 for supper, they  are among the best known and  I assure  that  they are many. Initially I was upset ... I felt almost discriminated, then, re-weighing to the  noise  children make and how pleasant to enjoy a relaxed dinner and how much  a dinner costs  in Dubai (too much) I thought I might actually accept it. Anyway I didn't get discouraged and I found good exclusive  ones that accepted gladly even "the puppy".

The first is that I mark the 101 Dining Lounge & Bar.

It is located on the artificial palm and worth the 15 minute taxi  to get it.

Spectacular location, on the sea in  front of the  skyline .... a marvel.

A very nice place, accurate in every detail.

Dinner .... simply excellent.

The cuisine is international with  both meat and fish courses.  The best wine, good bread. great service. And I must say that being on the sea ( when I say the sea .... I mean ... stay on a  building over the water) was also a way to enjoy the  sea breeze that tempered the heat and muggy room.

And 'even  "the puppy" liked it and she ate  all the bread (sure, in the Arab countries they know how to do it really well) and has run here and there also trying to jump into the sea at night.

101 is definitely approved Lov-Eat! Try it.
