Al Garghet cena in giardino a Milano

Superata la fase della prenotazione (arduo trovare posto, soprattutto nei week end estivi e, diciamolo, non proprio cordiali al telefono) e una volta scovato il ristorante (si trova in una stradina di campagna non proprio facile da raggiungere, a pochi minuti da via Ripamonti), il difficile è fatto!  Tutto il resto sarà solo una piacevole sorpresa.

Sorprendente la location: una trattoria dagli arredi semplici ma allo stesso tempo particolari e adorabili e, soprattutto, un giardino che non ho difficoltà a riconoscere come uno dei più belli di Milano per una cena all'aperto.
Sorprendente il menù, scritto rigorosamente a mano su fogli di quaderno e con portate tipiche della tradizione milanese.  Un occhio di riguardo al piatto forte della casa, le "orecchie di elefante" che per i "non locali" si traduce in una enorme e gustosissima cotoletta alla milanese. 

Dolci preparati in casa, una carta dei vini che contempla le principali etichette nazionali con personale capace di suggerire la scelta migliore per accompagnare i vostri piatti e, per finire, un prezzo anche inferiore alla media della città!

Se ci andate nei week end d'estate, provate a prenotare con un paio di giorni di anticipo un tavolo in giardino ... troverete l'atmosfera deliziosa.

After the phase of the booking (hard to find a place, especially on weekends in summer and, frankly, not very friendly on the phone) and once discovered the restaurant (located in a country lane not so easy to be reached, just a few minutes away from Ripamonti), the difficult part has been done! Everything else will just be a pleasant surprise.
Surprising location: a simply furnished restaurant but at the same time special and adorable and, above all, a garden that I have no difficulty in recognizing as one of the finest in Milan for an open dining. Amazing menu, written exclusively by hand on sheets of notebook and typical ranges of the Milanese tradition. An eye on the dish of the house, the "elephant ears" for the "non-local" may be translated into a huge and very tasty veal cutlet. 
Homemade cakes, a wine list that covers the major national brands with a staff able to suggest the best choice to accompany your meal and, finally, a price even lower than the average of the city!
If you go there on weekends in the summer, try to book a few days in advance, a table in the garden ... you will find the delightful atmosphere.
